Nick is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Gemini III Technologies a tech consulting firm. In July 2023, he helped establish the Hampton Roads Maritime Innovation Cyber Center of Excellence – Neptune SHIELD – which, when fully operational, will provide the tools and assistance needed to scale start-up founders to build relationships that will yield an initial customer base and pool of investors.

Annette joined the Department of State in 2017 as the Director of the newly created Technology and Innovation Office (TIO). As TIO Director, she provided executive leadership and management of the Department’s Intelligence Information Technology enterprise and served as the Department’s first Intelligence Chief Information Officer (CIO). She culminated her 40 year government career as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Intelligence Policy and Coordination.

Colonel, United States Army (Retired)
Dr. Krause served for 10 years as a member of the Army Science Board (ASB), charged with advising the Secretary of the Army and the Chief of Staff of the Army on significant issues. He chaired a study on Strategic Transformation for the Army Leadership, widely heralded as breaking significant ground in integration of commercial capabilities and articulating new methods to get Army forces to the fight faster.
